Comparison
GrowWithReddit vs ReddGrow
ReddGrow and GrowWithReddit both help you show up in the Reddit threads that Google ranks and AI engines cite. The difference is who does the posting, and whether the account doing it is really you.
What ReddGrow does
- Create "Advocates" — their own subtitle calls these "AI identities that comment on Reddit, each with their own voice, role, and style"
- Offer a "Disclosure Mode" set to either Implicit or Explicit, where their own help text describes implicit as blending in naturally rather than declaring company affiliation
- Include a "Moderator" toggle described as posting authoritative answers as the subreddit mod
- Auto-post approved drafts through a required Chrome extension, with draft auto-approval available
- Track AI visibility across several engines, which is genuinely their strongest module
What GrowWithReddit does
- Find threads that rank on Google AND are cited by AI engines, with both signals on the same row
- Write a draft tuned to that subreddit's real rules, which you copy and post from your own account
- Score every subreddit for promo tolerance, ban risk and karma gates, read live at request time
- Cap how many of your drafts can be promotional, enforced in the product rather than advised in a guide
- Show a scan log on every report: what we read, what we filtered, and what we could not check
The key difference
They automate the account. We automate the research and the writing, and leave the account to you. That is slower, and it is the entire point: a persona that posts on your behalf is the thing subreddits ban, and it is your account that carries the consequence, not the vendor's.
ReddGrow is for
Teams who want comments appearing on Reddit with the least possible involvement, and who are comfortable with an AI identity representing them.
GrowWithReddit is for
Funded B2B SaaS teams who want to be in the threads that rank and get cited, posting as themselves, with a record of why each thread was chosen.
FAQ
Is ReddGrow a bad product?+
No. Their AI-visibility module is better than ours today — they query several engines where we query one, and we say so on our own product page. The disagreement is about personas and auto-posting, not about quality.
Why does the extension matter?+
Their performance tracking depends on it: without the extension installed, the Performance tab explains it will populate once the extension checks your posted comments. Ours works from a permalink you paste, so there is nothing to install.
Are you just cheaper?+
We are roughly 38% cheaper tier for tier, but that is not the argument. Their Starter tracks 50 AI prompts against our 10, which is a real advantage for them, and it is on our pricing page.
How do you know all this?+
Every claim here was read from inside a paid ReddGrow account on 26 July 2026, quoting their own interface labels. Where we describe a feature, we are describing what their UI says it does.
